A bit of background about me and my bunions. I'm a 38 year old woman who's suffered from bunions most of my life. They are hereditary, probably made worse from wearing heels for most of my 20s. However, I would say they have only really bothered me in the last 5-10 years and they are now quite large. I don't generally experience too much pain, but that's because I wear usually wear trainers, Ugg boots or flat shoes which are a size too big so I can get my massive toe lumps into them! I know if shoes are going to hurt my feet pretty much as soon as put them on, so I don't buy them!
