Military strong, civilian ready The CDX- 50 TREMOR, a 50 caliber Precision rifle built to Military Spec, the rifle is capable of delivering a huge payload accurately while maintaining very manageable recoil. The CDX-50 is a lightweight bolt action rifle that brings new technology to the 50 BMG of years gone by. This is the ultimate extreme range anti-material rifle. Charlies has looked at many of the large caliber weapons, and Cadex just has it together. You cannot buy a better large caliber platform than Cadex. Engineering and design, function and battle testing is ahead of everyone else. The Cadex CDX-50 TREMOR rifle system provides operators and civilian shooters alike the best possible quality for long range sub-MOA engagement. Some of the feature of this rifle system include: Finger-grooved rubber ergonomic grip Tool free fully adjustable folding stock Standard bipod/sling stud Bartlein R5 fluted match grade barrel Detachable base Stainless steel 3 lug bolt with a 60° throw. Oversized trigger guard and magazine release for manipulation with gloved hands Forend tube with available rail placement at the 3,6 and 9 o’clock positions Full length top rail with inclination built-in With all of these features and the sturdy construction of this chassis system, it is easy to understand why these rifles are desired by so many in both military and civilian circles. The CDX-50 Tremor Series The CDX Tremor precision rifles are an amalgamation of all the features the precision marksman needs. A sub-MOA system built with attention to detail at every step. A V-shaped bedding system eliminated movement of the CNC and wire EDM action in the machined chassis. The free floating forend serves not only as a platform for mounting clip-on thermal or night vision on the full length 40 MOA top rail (other cants available), but also as a mirage control tube. The folding buttstock utilizes a glove-friendly, rattle-free mechanism and protects the bolt handle while shortening the weapon for transport or storage. In addition to folding, the stock is adjustable at multiple points without tools. The bottom metal is detachable, allowing access to the underside of the action for tuning the trigger or cleaning, all without losing the weapon's zero. As with the stock folding mechanism, the trigger guard and magazine release are oversized to make gloved operation easier. The finger grooved grip by Ergo bears the Cadex logo and is rubberized for a sure grip. A purpose-built action houses the 60 degree lift, three lug bolt with radial fluting, and a Sako style extractor. A heavy-duty recoil lug will help hold things in place over the weapon's service life. Finishing off the action is Cadex's DX2 Evo trigger, convertible by the end user between single and double stage as well as adjustable from 1.5-2.5 pounds. What truly makes a rifle shine above others is a superior barrel. The heart of every Cadex rifle is a single point-cut, match grade Bartlein barrel made using a Cadex designed 1.680 straight taper contour.
